The Sept 29 national demonstration against the war at home and abroad also marks the 7th anniversary of the Palestinian uprising against Israeli occupation called the Al Aksa Intifata. The besieged Palestinian people need our help.

The Gaza strip has become a Warsaw Ghetto. Palestinians there are treated like Jewish people were during World War II. Israel is holding 1.4 million Palestinians civilians under lockdown. No one can get in or out. A desperate situation is developing. Isolated from the rest of the world, 80% of the private sector has closed, laying off 30,000 people. 80 percent of the Palestinians in Gaza already live below the poverty line of $2.41 a day. Now they have no jobs.

The Israeli occupation in the West Bank continues. Israeli troops daily attack Palestinians there, continues to confiscate Palestinian land, and has carved up the area with an apartheid wall, separating families and destroying the economy.

U.S. responsible for attacks on Palestinians

These atrocities against Palestinians is made possible by the political and military aid provided by the Bush administration. The U.S. government orchestrated the siege of Gaza.. In August, Washington approved another $30 billion in direct military aid to Israel for further acts of aggression against the Palestinian people.

Bombs dropped on Palestinians fall on the poor at home

Bush has billions for bombs, yet says there is no money to meet human needs at home. 18,000 in the U.S. die each year because they can’t afford a doctor.

Stop the siege of Gaza!
End the Israeli occupation of the West Bank and Gaza!
Support the Palestinian right to return to their original towns and villages!
Stop all US aid to Israel!
Money for healthcare, not warfare!.
